In Šeduva and other shtetl streets, children didn't have a huge collection of toys, but that didn't dampen their fun.

They were masters of creating their own entertainment.

A simple tree branch became a mighty sword, a game of hide-and-seek transformed into thrilling adventures that lasted for hours, and a snowball fight turned into an epic battle.

It seems that the absence of fancy, store-bought toys had its perks—it sparked their imagination and encouraged them to be resourceful.
