We are delighted to share some wonderful news – the museum’s Remembrance Park (designed by Enea Landscape Architecture, with the landscape development process in Lithuania overseen by Grūta) has won the top award in “Green Space,” a competition organized by the Lithuanian news portal Lrytas!
This year, 42 green spaces from across Lithuania took part in the competition, and the finalists were evaluated by a jury of landscape architecture professionals who visited the parks in person.
The jury particularly highlighted the park’s harmony, its meticulously considered details, and its ability to offer visitors space for reflection and time in nature following the emotionally powerful story of the museum.
To mark this wonderful occasion, we would also like to once again remember the special guided tours of the museum park with Ingrida Vainauskienė, one of the park’s creators. All the tours have now taken place – our heartfelt thanks to the participants and to Ingrida for her professional and engaging presentation.
