On September 19–20, we are celebrating the museum’s first anniversary and inviting you to discover the Jewish community that once lived in Šeduva in a very special way. During the anniversary weekend, we will host theatrical guided tours, with actors bringing historical shtetl residents to life.

During the tours, visitors will not only hear the stories about the Jewish world that flourished in Šeduva before the Holocaust, but will also have the opportunity to meet its people – to experience, if only for a moment, the rhythm of their everyday lives, hear their personal stories, and discover their traditions, concerns, and hopes.

The theatrical tours will combine the museum’s exhibition narrative with live characters, fragments of their daily lives, and emotions. It will be an opportunity to experience history not simply as a collection of facts, but as an intimate and human story about families, neighbours, faith, work, and community.

Advance registration is required, as places are limited. You can register here.

Duration of the tours: approximately 1 hour.
